TonyB's Good Cookin'! - Chicken Salad Made w/Iceberg Lettuce, Avocados, Feta Cheese, Artichoke Hearts

Tony B does it again! I am not a healthy eater. I especially do not like salads. However, TonyB makes the best salads. He makes them look 'pretty.' Take a look. I like vinegar and oil, so he's always trying to perfect it for me. I remember eating at a mexican restaurant when I was a little girl, and I loved the salad dressing. Somehow, I can still remember what it taste like.

I also added the spice you see. It's called tajin Clásico Seasoning. A wonderful friend at my local Y bought a couple of bottles for me. I am hooked on it. I will put in on everything—when I can get away with it. It has a tangy taste to it. I love it!

Homemade Park Bench Cushion Cover and Throw Pillows

Most evenings, TonyB often sits on the park bench outside on the front porch. I wanted to add some abience to the front porch, so I made a cover for the cushion and added homemade covered pillows. It isn't outdoor fabric, but home dec fabric, which means it's not sunlight, mold, mildew, soil or stain resistant. But, hey, the fabric was picked up at a great price from a discount fabric store.

TonyB's Good Cooking - Bratwurst With Lettuce Instead of a Bun!

Another "TonyB's Good Cooking" Dinner!  Here is a 'healthy' bratwurst burger--minus the bun! The bratwurst, is topped with sautéed green bell pepper and onions, with swiss cheese and crumbled gorgonzola cheese wrapped with crisp iceberg lettuce substituted for the bun.

Antique Vintage Linen Napkins Turned Into Sachets w/ Lavender and Flax Seed

Throughout the years, I've been collecting old vintage linen napkins. They've been sitting in a drawer for years. Beautiful, aren't they? They're so so soft, and you could tell they have a premium quality to them. A few are slightly stained in some places, but that adds to it's uniqueness and beauty.

I thought I would reuse, repurpose, and transform them. One idea was to make small 4" x 4" square sachets. They were made using Sizzix Bigz Clear Die Square Scallop #655776. The sachets are filled with lavender and flax seed. That way, you could also put them in the freezer or microwave and place them on what ever hurts to sooth. The smell is relaxing--so I hear. (I have no sense of smell--really! I have one of my daughter's help me mix the lavender and flax seed together.)
My beloved mother loved the smell of lavender. These sachets are small gifts of thanks to people I know.  I have plenty more of these old linen napkins, so I will be making a lot more to give away.

This is a round-bottom wine holder with Criss-Cross coasters. Gotta say, the coasters are easy to make, thanks to the Sizzix Bigz Clear Die Square Scallop #655776

Yummy! More Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas

We just came back from my high school yearly alumni picnic. My wonderful husband, TonyB made these!  Yummmmmmmm!!!

Of course, I'm kinda mad. One of my son-in-laws did not come. He had no excuse. My husband accidentally put a dozen of these into his wife's (our second daughter) cooler by accident. So he gets to reap the benefits even though he chose not to come. I wanted to show off both of my son-in-laws at my annual high school alumni picnic, but my daughter gave a lame reason why he didn't show up--they both "woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Give me a break!
