iPhone Case Stand

I have a wonderful workout instructor at my local Y. Her name is Sarah. She always has her iPhone music plugged into the stereo speakers at the Y. I wanted to make her a case stand for her iPhone. She has an iPhone 5. I have a iPhone 4. I'm not sure if it's going to fit since it fits my iPhone 4 very snuggly, and the iPhone 4 is a tad smaller than the iPhone 5. Well see.

Anyway, I found these very easy instructions. They were very easy to follow, and best of all, the instructions are free!

I used cotton fabric with batting and cardboard.

Fall Is Here!

I love Fall! It's one of my favorite seasons, next to Winter, Spring, and Summer!  ;-)
It's a crisp cool feeling.
I've used warm colors to make this "WELCOME" sign that is on my front porch.

Chicken Tacos Made By the Cook in the House—TonyB

Yummy!!! My hubby (TonyB), made these tacos tonight.

The ingredients inside the small, but thick, store bought flour tortillas are:
Chicken in a verde sauce
Shredded pepper jack and cheddar cheese
Sliced avocado
Iceberg lettuce
Parmesan cheese - grated (not the kind that comes in a green shaker container).

Oh, and don't let the plate full you. It's not a regular size dinner plate, but a smaller 9" luncheon plate, made by Fiesta, in the ivory color.

Decoupage Before/After: Ice Cream Container Turned Into Tissue Holder

Though the years, I've collected tissue paper that have pretty patterned designs. I was rinsing out this ice cream container to put in the trash, when I came upon an idea to make this tissue holder.
Ooooh, very pretty and practical!

"Suitcases" Stacked & Turned Into Table

These are "faux" suitcases I purchased at various nearby craft stores.  The old vintage ones—and who doesn't have any, are still in our garage that are way too high for me to get to. Of course TonyB, thinks I already have too much stuff in the house—what husband doesn't, so I won't ask him right now.

Anyway, what do these faux suitcases have to do with sewing you ask? Well, aside from the functionality of stacking them to use as a table, as well as being aesthetically pleasing; inside are various sewing stuff, such as fabric stash, ribbons, and anything that has to do with, well sewing! "Sew" cool—right!?

I really have to be creative in hiding putting my sewing stash elsewhere around the house, since my sewing room, spare bedroom, 3-car garage, and old original garage converted into another spare room, that I'm not sure what to call it, are already full!

These are pretty boxes that I stacked...
...and covered to use as another table.
