Chicken Tacos Made By the Cook in the House—TonyB

Yummy!!! My hubby (TonyB), made these tacos tonight.

The ingredients inside the small, but thick, store bought flour tortillas are:
Chicken in a verde sauce
Shredded pepper jack and cheddar cheese
Sliced avocado
Iceberg lettuce
Parmesan cheese - grated (not the kind that comes in a green shaker container).

Oh, and don't let the plate full you. It's not a regular size dinner plate, but a smaller 9" luncheon plate, made by Fiesta, in the ivory color.

TonyB's Good Cooking - Bratwurst With Lettuce Instead of a Bun!

Another "TonyB's Good Cooking" Dinner!  Here is a 'healthy' bratwurst burger--minus the bun! The bratwurst, is topped with sautéed green bell pepper and onions, with swiss cheese and crumbled gorgonzola cheese wrapped with crisp iceberg lettuce substituted for the bun.

Yummy! More Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas

We just came back from my high school yearly alumni picnic. My wonderful husband, TonyB made these!  Yummmmmmmm!!!

Of course, I'm kinda mad. One of my son-in-laws did not come. He had no excuse. My husband accidentally put a dozen of these into his wife's (our second daughter) cooler by accident. So he gets to reap the benefits even though he chose not to come. I wanted to show off both of my son-in-laws at my annual high school alumni picnic, but my daughter gave a lame reason why he didn't show up--they both "woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Give me a break!

Cinco de Mayo 2013

My husband "TonyB" loves to cook. In fact, he is the cook in this family. Here is a sampling of what he made tonight. Tacos that were made with grilled rib eye-steak! I not only ate it, I inhaled it!

Homemade Bottle Labels for Cooking Oil

This is not a sewing project, but a project none the less.
I took empty bottles of wine, put them in a large pot of boiling water to take off the wine labels. They came off easy. I didn't have to scrape hard. I put on labels that were made using a word processor with copy free graphics. My husband Tony, who is "the best cook in the world," uses them to cook with almost every day, so he likes to have them very accessible.

These are the empty wine bottles now filled with the cooking oils--Looks more appealing!
This the the before pic--I hide them in the pantry.
